Installing Twixl Helper fails on Mac with Home folder on external drive

    Problem

    You don't succeed in installing the Twixl Helper Component on a Mac that has a Home older on an external drive.

    Cause

    If your Home folder resides on an external disc, that drive needs to have specific permissions.

    Solution

    1. Select the icon of your external drive
    2. Get the Info panel for that drive (CMD + I)
    3. Check the checkbox below for the setting Ignore ownership on this volume under the section Sharing & Permissions
