Dear Twixl Team,

1st of all, thank you for the great product! To make it even better here is the list of things that we would like to have:

1st priority:
- ability to see list of all the articles (TOC) inside closed collection before the PayWall comes up;

Thank you!

Hi

Can you please log a feature request for every different item? This is the only way we can guarantee a decent follow-up.

Thanks

Kind regards,

Hi

We have good news for you. This will be possible in version 5.2.1:

  • Add the .articles that you want to be Entitled in an Entitled Collection.
  • Make a new Collection (the TOC Collection) and use Web Links with the url scheme "tp-collection://name-collection/name-arcticle", linked to the .articles in the Entitled Collection
  • That way, when a reader taps on the TOC Collection, he will see all the Web Links, but the PayWall will show up when the reader taps on one of the Web Links.

Hi,
So this workaround involves creation of an additional "TOC Collection", that will be free and will have inside the free articles as well as Web Links to the protected ones that are inside the original "Protected Collection".
Now here is the question - in such a configuration we need the "Protected Collection" to be hidden from all the users. Will this be also possible? Thanks

I see, if I exclude published protected collection from it's container it becomes detached/hidden.

Although there is a couple of problems with this workaround:
- double the number of collections in the Twixl Distribution Platform;
- you need to define each of the protected articles twice.

So we still think that the article-based access solution is the better one.

Hi

At this moment, everything is based on Collection (at least the entitlement or in-app purchases parts). We are evaluating article-based purchases and entitlements, but this is a very hard one to implement. So no ETA at this moment.
